Abstract

This report contains five sections: Section A is a report on recruitment into the primary teaching service, Section B is a report on entry characteristics of primary teacher trainees, Section C is a report on entry level competence of primary teacher trainees in mathematics, Section D is a report on entry level English language competence, while Section E provides administrative information on the progress of the project.
