Abstract
This paper is organized in five sections. The first deals with definitions. In the second, the criteria of an efficient curriculum system are established, to be used for assessing the system in Trinidad and Tobago. Section 3 consists of a synopsis of the provisions for education in the country, and in Section 4 an assessment if made of these provisions using the established criteria. In the final section of the paper, a system of curriculum engineering for Trinidad and Tobago is proposed
