Abstract
An analysis of the mathematical skills and understandings essential for effective learning of skills needed in the trades resulted in the suggestion that a common core of concepts is required by all trades and that, in addition, each trade has some particular needs peculiar to it. Part A includes the core of knowledge common to all trades, and Part B includes materials required for two trades: electrical and carpentry
