Steelpan Newspaper Clippings

The Steelpan Newspaper clippings was established in 2013 with a grant from the Campus Research and Publication Fund of the University of the West Indies St. Augustine. The project was initiated by Dr. Jeannine Remy a lecturer with the Department of Creative and Festival Arts. The primary goal of the project is to archive, preserve and organize newspaper clippings on the topic of steelpan found in the West Indiana and Special Collections Division at the Alma Jordan Library, the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. So that researchers and students of the art form can easily access information related to the topic of steelpan.
