The island’s administration has sent a delegation of commissioners to meet with the Antillean prime minister in an attempt to resolve the crisis. Next, after talks between the two countries an agreement between Haiti and the Dominican Republic has been reached on the question of the repatriation of Haitian refugees. The borders between the two countries are to be monitored by international organisations.
