In order to overcome the problems confronting Guyana's educational system, this paper presents a plan for the utilization of modern technology--radio, television, and other audiovisual media--in all aspects of the system. Methods are outlined for the application of this technology to teaching methods and materials, teacher preparation, curriculum reform, independent learning, and research and evaluation
