Street science and conventional science in the West Indies
Abstract
This paper abstracts from a collection of local sayings from Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago, the main concepts/principles and compares these to the concepts/principles in conventional science. Some tentative conclusions on possible implications for science in the classroom are offered
