The deal is part of the EEC/ACP’s regional tourism programme which was negotiatied some years ago under the Lome Convention. Around 5 million dollars will be placed on research, development, training and promoting the Caribbean in Europe. The RCA is trying to advance plans for political unification of the four Windward islands.
