Abstract
This report is informed by the deliberations of the Advisory Task Force on Education, its consultations, and background papers prepared by members of the Task Force in collaboration with the staff of the Education Section of the CARICOM Secretariat. It summarizes the issues and concerns, and states policy goals and actions required for the various levels of the education system, and for specific areas of concern that pervade these levels. It highlights curriculum reform, teacher education, management and administration of schools, and financing of education.
