dc.description
This paper examines the developmental role of education in the Caribbean, as well as the organization of education in the Caricom region in general, and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) in particular. Against the background of current development imperatives, it identifies five critical issues that limit the achievement of educational goals. Strategies are proposed for the achievement of these goals, especially as they relate to tertiary-level education
