dc.description
This paper proposes an alternative structure for the organization of instruction in primary schools, which is expected to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning. The plan borrows from various schemes of cooperative teaching and semi-specialization, while taking cognizance of the difficult conditions that affect teachers and pupils in the primary schools. It attempts to realistically provide for the achievement of such educational objectives as: 1) catering for individual differences, 2) individualizing instruction, 3) developing special abilities, and 4) providing fundamental training
