dc.description.abstractThis report describes a project for the renewal of the secondary school curriculum of mathematics education in the countries of the Eastern Caribbean. It provides an educational evaluation of the project and examines: 1) background and initiation of the project, 2) development and operation, 3) evaluation and achievement, 4) factors militating against total success, and 5) lessons to be learnt from the experience. Appendices include a chronicle of activities, data relating to schools and teachers involved in the project, and a list of published material.en_US
