dc.description
This paper discusses the development and implementation of a nationwide communication campaign for nutrition education in Jamaica during the period 1977-1979--the Jamaica Nutrition Education/Communication Programme. This programme utilized the mass media and interpersonal channels to reach both urban and rural communities. Based on the findings of an evaluation exercise conducted from October 1979 - Feb. 1980, the programme was revised and re-launched in January 1981 under the name Jamaica Nutrition Education Programme
