dc.description.abstractThis exercise introduces students to the political entities of the Caribbean archipelago, and the spatial disparities that exist in the region in terms of access to education, an aspect of social geography. It involves the completion of four steps: 1) constructing a cartogram to represent the region; 2) computing a measure to compare access to education among countries of the region; 3) compiling a choropleth map using the cartogram as the base; and 4) analysing the differences which are portrayed
