The overall aim of the Secondary Education Support Project (SESP) is to enhance access to and improve the quality of lower secondary education in Dominica, particularly for disadvantaged, less academic students. A baseline study had been conducted in October 1998 at four of the secondary schools used as pilot schools for the new SESP curricula materials in order to determine initial performance levels and attitudes of students on their entry to secondary school. This report provides the results of a survey conducted in October 1999 to gauge changes in performance and attitudes of students as a result of project initiatives.en_US
