dc.description.abstract | To study the application of five psychological principles to the teaching of number systems, 10 student teachers conducted a series of lessons on number systems, with 354 7- to 9-year-old pupils, over a period of three weeks. A 40-item objective test was administered to pupils to determine their reactions towards the content discussed. It is concluded that attainment was of a reasonable level | |
