Abstract
This is a report on the National Conference on Literacy held at the St. Lucia Teachers College, Castries, St. Lucia on August 16th & 17th, 1984 under the auspices of The Ministry of Education and Culture, Government of St. Lucia and funded by The Organization of American States and UNESCO. This report sought to address the problem of illiteracy in St. Lucia.
