Abstract

This article examines decentralization as a management strategy in the education sector. It looks at: 1) the advantages and disadvantages of a local level decentralized system, 2) the relationship between school administration and regional administration, 3) the role of local authority in curriculum and human resources, and 4) financing the decentralized education system at the local level
