Abstract

This was an investigation of the first graduates of the Grade 10-11 programme who had participated in a work experience programme in Jamaica. Main findings were that students of Business Education had career expectations in their area of specialization, and usually found jobs on graduation. The same applied to students of Industrial Arts, but few students who specialized in Agriculture opted for careers in agriculture, and those who did selected "white collar" jobs
