Paper presented to the Vice-Chancellor's Committee on the Restructuring of the Department of Extra-Mural Studies, St. Augustine
This paper outlined the many attempts that had been made to rationalize adult (extra-mural) education within The University of the West Indies (UWI), and questioned whether the Department of Extra-Mural Studies, as then configured, was adequate and adaptable enough to meet the needs and demands implied by existing educational trends. It called for the reopening of the idea of a fourth campus--the Open Campus
