The government of Jamaica and the United States will resume talks on a possible shiprider agreement. Negotiations broke down over the question of the permission for the United States Coast Guard to board the search vessels in the Caribbean waters. Next, the week in which the United States releases its annual report on human rights around the world, its own judicial system has come under fire. Studies on the American Judicial System show that blacks are incarcerated more than whites, and whites are more likely to get their charges dropped. Next, in Washington, the Micro Credit Summit discussing small scale credit for the world’s poor gets underway. The summit discusses the pros and cons of expanding micro credit across the developing world. Next, the St. Lucia Labour Party is fielding for the upcoming general elections, a candidate, Menissa Rambally, who is regarded as one of the youngest candidates in recent times. In the concluding segment, the West Indies cricket team is only hours away from playing Australia in the fifth test in Perth. Australia has already won the series retaining the Frank Worrel trophy and the ranking of the number one test team in the world.en_US
