Abstract
This document is intended to be (a) a guide to the development and/or enhancement of national policies on health and family life education (HFLE); (b) a means of placing HFLE more deliberately on the formal agenda; and (c) a means of encouraging dialogue among students, teachers, families, and community members who are key stakeholders in supporting efforts to raise the status of HFLE and, consequently, the health of children and youth in CARICOM member states.
