In-service teacher education in the Caribbean: Report of a Commonwealth Regional Workshop

Abstract

This report contains the texts of the official speeches and lead papers delivered at the Commonwealth Regional Workshop on In-Service Teacher Education, as well as the country statements reflecting national policies on in-service teacher education, summaries on group discussions, and the recommendations of the workshop on the four agenda items: 1) Needs and priorities in in-service teacher education in the Caribbean, 2) The role of educational support services in teacher education, 3) Patterns and methods of in-service teacher education, 4) Regional cooperation on in-service teacher education in the Caribbean.
