ETV assists science curriculum development in Barbados
Abstract
Barbados inaugurated an ETV pilot project in 1970. At around the same time, a West Indian Science Curriculum Innovation Project (WISCIP) sponsored by the Centre for Educational Development Overseas (CEDO) and The University of the West Indies (UWI) was adopted by the same schools in the ETV project. The article discusses how projects have cooperated to improve the quality of science education in Barbados, with reference to the production and evaluation of programmes, and difficulties encountered
