Strengthening educational research in developing countries: Report of a Seminar held at the Swedish Royal Academy of Social Sciences 12-14 September 1991

Abstract

This paper, which was submitted to the seminar, provides a picture of educational research in the Caribbean. It discusses: 1) The research community, 2) the organization and management of educational research, 3) funding and the role of international agencies, 4) priority fields for educational research, 5) dissemination and utilization of research findings, and 6) the need for strengthening research capacities.
