Adult Education in Caribbean Universities

Abstract

This publication covers adult education in universities in the English-speaking Caribbean from a variety of perspectives, and reflects the wide range covered by the term adult education—from the use of information communication technology for teaching engineering students to the provision of basic education in prisons. Definitions of adult education are offered and discussed, and aspects of the practice of adult education within tertiary institutions are examined.
