dc.description.abstractThis paper provides a quantitative estimate of the types and levels of education that would be required in Guyana in 1975 to man the economy. It uses the "manpower requirements approach," which attempts to foresee the future occupational structure of the economy and to plan the educational system so as to provide the requisite number of personnel with the qualifications that the structure demands
