dc.description.abstractThis seminar was organized to: 1) study the place and need of environmental education (EE) in the context of technical and vocational education; 2) develop strategies for the incorporation of EE into the curriculum and teacher-training for pre-university industrial schools; 3) develop prototype EE materials for incorporation into the curriculum and teacher-training for industrial schools; 4) enhance exchange of information and experience through the preparation and presentation of country reports on the development of EE in the context of technical and vocational education among participating member states; and 5) identify documents and activities to be developed at sub-regional, regional, and international levels on the incorporation of EE into technical and vocational education. This document presents the proceedings of the seminar, a background presentation, country reports, working documents, seminar materials, a list of suggested activities, and follow-up documents. The appendices list the seminar timetable, speeches, documents, participants, organizing committee, report of a slide presentation and field trip, and resumes of working documents and country reports
