An implementation plan to establish a Department of Forestry in the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad

Abstract

This document outlines a programme for a B.Sc. degree in forestry. It identifies additional resources needed to teach a degree course at the University of the West Indies (UWI) St. Augustine, and recommends the most cost effective utilization of these resources. It also provides a budget showing the initial capital and recurrent cost required to operate such a department for a five-year period.
