Abstract
This statement comments on improvements of both a quantitative and qualitative nature, particularly in the field of secondary education in Trinidad and Tobago. It states the proposed principles of the draft education plan and gives a concise report of the plan, outlining its proposals as regards the translation from primary to secondary school, secondary education, technical and vocational education, and a national library. Definitions of vocational and technical education are presented from an extract of a report on vocational training in Trinidad and Tobago
