dc.description.abstract | Adolescent nutrition in the Caribbean has two major foci, - body weight and anaemia. Teenagers, both male and female, are quite sensitive about their development and their weight. Many have taken steps to lose or gain weight using various methods. To what extent are their concerns warranted? How many of them use the recommended dietary and physical activity behaviours that may control their weight and improve their health status? This issue of Cajanus explores these questions among others. | en_US |
