Abstract
This study assesses teacher education offerings for the primary and secondary levels of education in the Caribbean in the areas of English language, foreign languages, mathematics, science, and technology. The report is presented in two parts: Part I – English Language and Foreign Languages; and Part II – Mathematics, Science and Technology. Each part deals with aspects of issues in teacher education in the context of the region’s priorities for the 21st century in addition to the current situation.
