CARICOM Multi-Agency Health Family Life Education Project: Report of the Trainer of Trainers Course August 5-30, 1996

Abstract

This report documents the experience of a Trainer of Trainers Course attended by 18 participants from the Bahamas, Belize, Jamaica, Guyana, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago. The course aimed to prepare participants to assist in the development or strengthening of structured programmes which would result in the establishment of health and family life education (HFLE) in formal and non-formal education. The objectives of the course were to: 1) develop plans for the promotion of HFLE, 2) develop teaching skills appropriate to the topics, and 3) review/revise the curriculum for the preparation of HFLE resource persons in-country.
