Primary school syllabus: Reading and Language Arts

Abstract

This version completes the development of a new primary work programme for Trinidad and Tobago. It was preceded by: 1) the publication and distribution to all primary schools, in 1986, of the draft primary school syllabus; and 2) the consultation stage. The syllabus was rewritten in light of the feedback received over the period 1986-1988. It is presented in a series of booklets, each one containing two or more subjects for convenience, but it is to be taken as an integrated syllabus
