Abstract

The theme of this conference was “Redesigning teacher preparation programmes in the Eastern Caribbean". All the presentations are included in this volume and they focus on the specifics for redesign including: 1) recruiting and training, 2) the core curriculum of the teachers’ colleges, 3) the model of teacher training, and 4) evaluation in teacher training. Appendices include a list of participants and the conference programme.
