Abstract
The document presents the rationale for the development of a staff development programme on “Education of the hearing impaired” for teachers in regular schools in Trinidad and Tobago, discusses its objectives, organization, structure and content. This initial pilot project was entitled “South East Port of Spain Teachers’ Seminar” (SEPOSTS), because of its venue. An evaluation of the seminar is also presented.
