dc.description.abstractThis is the official reply from Guyana to the questionnaire for the 1981 International Conference on Education on educational development in the future, in light of global needs and world problems and on educational policy trends. An educational programme is necessary to cater for national economic needs, especially the selection of manpower in quantitative and qualitative terms. The main problems are lack of adequate finance and adequate personnel, and inadequate research on national needs
