| dc.description.abstract | This syllabus aims at promoting technical proficiency. It is intended to cover the complete range of Caribbean agriculture and the appropriate attendant scientific knowledge and skills. It is so structured so as to produce students with a) skills directly applicable to farming as an occupation, b) exposure to the managerial dimension of agricultural work and related enterprises, and c) the motivation and interest to pursue higher education in agriculture (provided they have intellectual ability and aptitude). | en_US |
