| dc.description.abstract | The aims of the two proposed levels of instruction—primary and secondary—are stated in this syllabus. Five themes make up the curriculum: 1) Water – a basic resource; 2) The interdependence of living things and their environment; 3) The sea; 4) The living sea – the sea as a biological environment; and 5) Man and the ocean. A number of units and/or topics that may be used to support each theme are also identified. | en_US |
