Guidelines for a Caribbean Information System on Education by CARNEID

Abstract

This document examines the rationale for the establishment of the sub-regional database on education in the light of the Caribbean network of Educational Innovation for Development (CARNEID) specified areas of activity. The aims and objectives of the system are set out, along with the suggested structure of the network. Recommendations are made for a set of criteria for the operation of the system, and the responsibilities of each tier of the system are outlined. A methodology for implementation is also included.
