Denzil Douglas, the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, mentioned that secession will not be a part of the elections March 3. The police suspect the man fleeing the scene of the incident could assist in the investigation. Bahamians are left questioning the integrity of the force and what actually happened in the patrol car. Mike Moore believes in light of a lack of consensus in the failed meeting in Seattle, there is the need to revisit issues since developing countries are the ones who will feel it the most and who need assistance and market access.
