Ministry of Health, Welfare and Status of Women (Mt. Hope Maternity Hospital) Statistical Report 1980-1986

Abstract

This statistical report reflects the quantity of work which has been undertaken at the Mount Hope Maternity Hospital during the years 1980-1986. All departments highlighted have made outstanding contributions to the goal of total patient care. Note should be taken of the increasing workload which in some instances exceeds that originally envisaged for the institution. However, it should be noted that one of the areas of concern, Family Planning, has not been operating at optimum level. It is imperative that these developments be monitored in order that the quality of patient care be sustained and that the original objectives established for the facility be maintained.
