Abstract

This Task Force was established to study the economic problems of students at some tertiary institutions following student protests and demonstrations over the institution of tuition fees at the College of Arts, Science and Technology (CAST) and the University of the West Indies (UWI). The report considers the problem of financing education in Jamaica, the priorities and resources of the society, and presents the considerations and recommendations of the Task Force
