dc.description.abstractThe seminar on which this document reports was convened for the purpose of studying the following topics: 1) The primary school curriculum reform in relation to the training of teachers; 2) Basic problems in teacher education including teacher supply; and 3) Areas of teacher education which require international aid through integrated schemes. The report contains summaries of the addresses and discussions at the seminar, as well as a synthesis of the most important issues raised and their embodiment in two crucial composite resolutions on the future of teacher training and the curriculum in both primary and junior secondary schools. The appendices contain the texts of the addresses and background papers
