Abstract

This draft policy seeks to contribute to the social and economic development of Trinidad and Tobago by presenting a strategy for preparing children and youth to take control of their health and lifestyle choices in the context of school, family and community. It aims at the systematic and effective institutionalization of health and family life education (HFLE) as a core component of the curriculum at all levels of education.
