| dc.description.abstract | The training project was carried out under the aegis of the Office of University Services, with a mandate to link the resources of the University of the West Indies (UWI) to the development and aspirations of the countries of the Eastern Caribbean. The purpose of the development training component of the project was to improve the productivity and the efficiency of the work force in the participating private and public sector organizations. It was designed to provide professional management and vocational training in a number of areas. The review provides an overview of the project and provides snapshot profiles of some of the beneficiaries of both long term and long term training. | en_US |
