Inventory and report on teacher education materials and programmes in the Commonwealth Caribbean

Abstract

This is the descriptive inventory of the teacher education programmes and training and related distance materials available in six countries (Barbados, Belize, Guyana, Jamaica, Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), St. Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago) within the Caribbean region. In developing the inventory, particular note was made of courses that involved distance education methodologies. The report is presented in two parts: the first section summarizes the overall findings, and the second section presents the individual country reports.
