dc.description.abstractThis Committee was set up to look into: 1) the position of agriculture especially in rural schools; 2) industrial, technical, and vocational subjects; 3) West Indian studies and cultural forms with their implications for the study of foreign languages; 4) the role of Afro-Asian studies; 5) the methods of language study and teaching; 6) the expansion of teacher training with emphasis on the quality of training; 7) the role of television and radio; 8) the place examinations should occupy in the secondary school system and the nature of these examinations; and 9) the requirements of sixth form students
