Abstract
An Act to provide the regulation of premises to ensure a high standard of child care is provided and to provide for other matters in relation to the caring of children. The primary purpose of the Bill is to license and regulate the operation of child care centres in Trinidad and Tobago. In order to achieve this objective it establishes a Children’s Services Board which will also have a mandate to formulate policies with respect to the care of children.
