dc.description
The survey sought to identify perceived learning needs of nurse tutors as a first step to training/re-training. A mailed questionnaire was used to obtain an education profile of respondents and information on areas of weakness for specific areas of knowledge. Responses were received from 109 tutors (52 percent of the sample population). The survey identified 10 areas for continuing education ranked in order of priority. It is recommended that PAHO/WHO support continuing education offerings based on the areas prioritized by the nurse tutors
